According to the Chinese Ceramic Society, the 32nd China International Glass Industry Technology Exhibition (ChinaGlass 2022) will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from April 13 to 16, 2022. This exhibition is sponsored by the Chinese Ceramic Society and undertaken by Beijing China Silicon Exhibition Co., Ltd.

In the first half of 2021, China's glass industry has vigorous production, prices continue to remain high, and major economic efficiency indicators have increased significantly. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the output of flat glass from January to August was 690 million weight boxes, an increase of 11% year-on-year; the output of tempered, laminated and hollow glass in the first half of the year was 430 million square meters, an increase of 22.4% year-on-year. The operating income of construction technology glass enterprises above designated size was 182.48 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 37.7%, and the total profit was 26.92 billion yuan.

At present, the glass industry is in a critical period of development kinetic energy conversion and industrial restructuring. Driven by the rapid recovery of demand markets such as real estate, automobiles, communications, photovoltaics, and home appliances, it will boost the vigorous development of the technical glass market. At the same time, the growth of food, beverage, pharmaceutical and other industries will also promote the increase in demand for bottled glass. In particular, the realization of the "dual carbon" goal has brought huge market growth potential for the development of the flat glass industry represented by photovoltaic glass. China Glass Fair is promoting the realization of the "dual carbon" goal, helping the development of the industry to highlight its role as a platform, providing greater assistance for industry technology exchanges, resource allocation, and optimizing the supply chain, stimulating the potential of the consumer market, and promoting the upgrade of the consumer market.

At present, all kinds of exhibition recruitment are in progress. Due to the successful holding of the exhibition in May 2021 and the good reputation of the exhibition, many domestic and foreign exhibitors have renewed the 32nd China Glass Exhibition at the exhibition site and the area has reached 45,000 square meters. Since the start of the recruitment work in July this year, the planned area has reached 60,000 square meters. More than 650 exhibitors have confirmed their participation. It is expected that the number of exhibitors will reach 1,000, professional visitors will exceed 40,000, and the overall exhibition scale will exceed 90,000 square meters.
